Wietze Steyn is a qualified Forensic Psych physiologist. He completed his Polygraph and Voice Stress Examiners course at the Truth Verification Centre, POLYVSA Institute in the Western Cape.
During his 21 years of experience in the SADF as a (SACMP) Police officer and in (SAMS), he completed several investigative courses and investigated various crimes daily. He is therefore familiar with investigative questioning techniques and procedures.
Wietze was also trained in VIP protection and as a Hostage negotiator, and release of hostages, was involved in the VIP protection in SADF and as an instructor. He also completed a Practical Labour Course and Occupational Health and Safely Course through UCT. Also, the proud owner of Labour 2 You (Pty) Ltd which specialized in Labour Relation.
His background and experience, with Polygraph and Voice Stress Examiners training, is an effective combination in Detection of Deception. Specific Polygraph Tests
In a specific polygraph test, the test is conducted with specific facts provided to the examiner concerning a specific incident that has occurred. A pre-test interview must be held with the client requesting the test to determine.
Pre-employment Polygraph Tests
The Polygraph is utilized to determine the subject’s honesty regarding his employment application/history and possible inappropriate behaviour at previous employment. We recommend this kind of test for any new applications in any position.
Periodic Polygraph Tests
The Polygraph is utilized to determine the general honesty and trustworthiness of your existing employees over some time. We recommend that we don’t go further back than a period of 6 (Six) months.
Infidelity Polygraph Tests
Polygraph 2 You can conduct infidelity testing on spouses. This step is not recommended if there is still any hope of rectifying the relationship. The lie detector test should only be considered as a last resource.
CCMA Presentation and Expert witness Statements
All examiners at Polygraph 2 You are well trained and capable of being used as expert witnesses in labor-related cases and CCMA cases where applicable.

Costs may vary significantly depending on factors such as:
- How many polygraph exams must be done in a particular case (if more than 3, discounts may become applicable).
- Type of polygraph exam required (specific, pre-employment/periodic).
- Polygraph exam would be done at our offices or not (traveling charges are applicable if testing is not done at our offices);
- An interpreter may be required or not (if needed, additional fees/costs are payable).
